Fort Hood Military Base Shootings -Nidal Hasan a psychiatrist gone crazy before deployment to Iraq - Afghanistan or a well hidden terrorist?

Psychiatrist -Maj. Nidal Hasan military shooting spree

A psychiatrist -Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan- gone crazy before deployment to Iraq -Afghanistan is blamed for the deaths of 12 soldiers and one civilian, and wounding 30 people in what can be considered "one of the worst mass shootings ever to take place on an American military base" according to U.S. president Obama.

Hasan entered his workplace, the Soldier Readiness Center — where personnel receive routine medical treatment immediately prior to and on return from deployment — at approximately 1:34 pm (CST). He is then alleged to have opened fire with two handguns: an FN Five-seven semi-automatic pistol and a .357 Magnum Smith & Wesson revolver, on a crowd gathered 30 minutes before a scheduled college graduation ceremony.
The incident lasted for about 10 minutes with the shooter reportedly firing about 100 shots.

It's definitely not the first case of soldiers gone crazy shooting spree, but in this one, the suspect Nidal Hasan is a muslim; which raises the question whether this is a terrorist plot or a simple

Understanding the motives of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is very important to determine whether it's a terrorist act or just another shooting spree:

Nidal Hasan background:

Nidal Hasan is a U.S citizen from Palestinian origin, he is single, he is believed to be a devoted muslim.

Nidal Hasan have tried to leave the army after the 2001 terror attacks due to pressure. (Hasan was harassed after 9/11 because of his ethnicity, and was called a "camel jockey." .He recently hired an attorney to help him get out of the military. )

Nidal Hasan was promoted from Captain to Major in May 2009.

Nidal Hasan has beeng transferred to Fort Hood in July 2009.

Nidal Hasan was to be deployed to Afghanistan before the shooting.

As a psychiatrist, Nidal Hasan have probably heard hundreds if not thousands of horror stories perpetrated by the U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

During wars the conduct of the American military have always been tarnished by thousands of scandals (like abou ghreib prison, blackwaters ...) and horrifying barbaric behavior (raping civilians, killing civilians, killing kids ... -like in the Mahmudiya Iraq* ) and thousands of other incidents that you don't and won't hear about in the media.

*U.S. soldiers gang-raped and murdered a 14-year-old girl Abeer Qasim Hamza after killing her family and her 6 year old sister and later blamed it on Sunni insurgents.

Hearing such stories would make any human -with a conscience- angry or sick of the U.S soldiers behavior.

In this case these stories might have turned Nidal Hasan bitter and he might have at one point decided to seek revenge.

Nidal Hasan a hidden terrorist ?

According to FBI in 05/20/2009 a scrib user under the name of NidalHasan left this comment in a conversation:

There was a grenade thrown amongs a group of American soldiers. One of the soldiers, feeling that it was to late for everyone to flee jumped on the grave with the intention of saving his comrades. Indeed he saved them. He inentionally took his life (suicide) for a noble cause i.e. saving the lives of his soldier. To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause. Scholars have paralled this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers. If one suicide bomber can kill 100 enemy soldiers because they were caught off guard that would be considered a strategic victory. Their intention is not to die because of some despair. The same can be said for the Kamikazees in Japan. They died (via crashing their planes into ships) to kill the enemies for the homeland. You can call them crazy i you want but their act was not one of suicide that is despised by Islam. So the scholars main point is that "IT SEEMS AS THOUGH YOUR INTENTION IS THE MAIN ISSUE" and Allah (SWT) knows best.

Nidal Hasan Motives

If this was a comment left by Nidal Hasan as the FBI suggests*, then his motives are clearly religion based, meaning he have basically put the interests (in his point of view) of fellow muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan before the interests of the U.S military or if you wish you can call it "God before country".
Nidal cousin said that she believed it was his upcoming deployment combined with the wartime horror stories he heard from his patients that set him off.
Hasan had reportedly recently hired an attorney to help him get out of the military.
An Army official confirmed that Hasan would have been deployed to Afghanistan later this month, this would have been his first deployment.

*Even though the date of the post comes in the same month Nidal was promoted - lots of conspiracy theories can be developed in this case to present it as a setup by FBI or whatever other shadowy organization, Like why CNN got a surveillance camera footage not dated and him wearing a traditional muslim dress or where are the surveillance camera footage of the shooting ...

Nidal Hasan Inspiration

Nidal Hasan was from Virginia Tech, his inspiration was probably not to be found in the religion but rather in Seung-Hui Cho , a South Korean citizen undergraduate at Virginia Tech with U.S. permanent resident status.
In April 16, 2007, Seung-Hui Cho, killed 32 people and wounded many others before committing suicide.

Nidal Hasan Virginia tech

Like Seung-Hui Cho, the massacre was committed by a pair of guns.
Like Seung-Hui Cho, Nidal Hasan was a lonely man that seemed to be under certain pressure.

For these reasons we can rule out the possibility of linking this incident to a terror attack and instead it should be categorized under the Psychical effects of war on soldiers.
