Axis of evil or Axis of terror are terms used to describe the enemies that the U.S and it's allies have identified throughout the world.

"Axis of evil" is a term coined by United States President George W. Bush in his State of the Union Address on January 29, 2002 in order to describe governments that he accused of helping terrorism and seeking weapons of mass destruction. President Bush named Iran, Iraq and North Korea in his speech.

Later Libya, Syria and Cuba in addition to the Palestinian Hamas and the Lebanese Hezbollah were added to this list of bad guys.

But on the other Hand there were no real term that can group those who are fighting this Axis of evil.

Some terms were proposed and used but none of these terms was able to group all the governments who have declared direct or indirect war on the so called Axis of evil or that have adopted partially or totally the G.W.Bush Holly Crusade.

Axis of the willing

By analogy to axis of evil, the term axis of the willing has occasionally been applied to the coalition of the willing (for countries that participated in the 2003 invasion of Iraq).


Colonialist Axis

In a speech, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi the chief commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps of Iran has spoken of what he refers to as a "true axis of evil" consisting of the United States, the United Kingdom and Israel.

But the term that should be applied to those who are supposedly opposing the Axis of evil should be :

Why to use the term of Axis of Israel ? and why Israel ?

Let's start with the latest event, and then we'll take some other events that happened in the last 10 days (no need to go further).

The UN General Assembly
On Thursday 24 September 2009, A dozen delegations walked out of the UN General Assembly during Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speech.

Delegations from Argentina, Australia, Britain, Costa Rica, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand and the United States left the room as Ahmadinejad began to rail against Israel, a European source said.
Israel and Canada were already boycotting the speech.



the second day Israel PM attacked back and none of the above delegations walked out of the UN General Assembly.



The West defends Israel Nuclear Bombs in the IAEA
On 18 September 2009 while a majority have voted for a none binding resolution critical of the Israeli nuclear program, objection to the resolution came from Israel and what is commonly called "Western states" the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Canada, Australia ...

Canada even tried to block the vote with a "no-action motion", a procedural maneuver that prevailed in 2007 and 2008, but lost by an 8 vote margin.

The West Mass attack on the Arab Candidate for the UNESCO
On 22 September 2009, the Arab and South countries candidate lost the elections after been considered the favorite and having a big lead over his rivals in first 3 rounds.
After being accused of antisemitism for saying a couple years ago he wanted to burn Hebrew language books if they get into Egypt, the Western powers have done the best they can to stop the Arab candidate from getting the UNESCO top post, and they achieved their objective by running an aggressive international smear campaign and lobbying against mr. In only 10 days
If in only 10 days we have seen the west defend Israel or side by Israel in 3 important matters, imagine how many time this happens in a year or in 3 years ...

with no doubt in mind, we can affirm that the term Axis of Israel can be used to group the Western powers that are fighting the war against the so called Axis of evil.
