Turkish foreign minister, cancelled his visit to Israel in September after Israel denied his request to visit the Gaza Strip from Israeli territory.
And Now the Turkish military cancels an air drill after the U.S. and Italy withdrew as a result of Turkey decision to bar Israel from participating, under the pretext that the Israeli planes participated in the Gaza war that killed 1000+ civilian.
A brief statement on the Turkish military's website said the annual Anatolia Eagle drill would take place between October 10 and 23, but that international participation (Israel, Turkey and Italy) had been called off...
But it might be possible that in an effort to have more influence in the Middle East and the Arab world, Turkey needs to distance itself a little bit from it's friend Israel.
