As the Arab countries play a larger and larger role in world politics, U.S students have flocked to learn Arabic in record numbers.

Arabic is the 4th Most Widely Spoken Languages in the World.

The classification of Languages and Approx. number of speakers:

2. Spanish 329,000,000
3. English 328,000,000
4. Arabic 221,000,000
5. Hindi1 182,000,000
6. Bengali 181,000,000
7. Portuguese 178,000,000

The Arabic language was not between the most Studied Foreign Languages
in the U.S, but this is changing fast, enrollment in both beginner and more advanced Arabic classes has skyrocketed over the past few years.

Arabic’s popularity is on the rise nationwide, and it is now the tenth most commonly studied foreign language in American universities and colleges, according to recent reports.

Arabic is the 10th most popular foreign language studied in the U.S, but enrollment have increased 126.5% in just four years.
