Israel Russia deal to remove the U.S missile shield in Poland and pressure Iran
The United States and Poland in August 2008 signed an agreement to base U.S. ballistic missile interceptors in Poland, but on the 17th September 2009 President Obama canceled former President George W. Bush’s plans to station a radar facility in the Czech Republic and 10 ground-based interceptors in Poland.
Few days earlier on the 7th September 2009 Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had a 10-hour secret trip to Russia,
the 17th September 2009 a Russian official confirmed the visit, after remaining secret on the request of the Israeli PM.
